Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Image processing happens locally in your browser. Your image does not need to be uploaded to Kyvorix.
Which image formats are supported?
The compressor accepts JPG, JPEG, PNG and WebP images.
What happens to PNG files?
PNG files are exported as WebP so the compressor can use lossy quality compression. This can produce a significantly smaller file than the original PNG.
What quality should I use?
Around 70% to 85% is a useful starting point for many images. Increase the quality when preserving more detail is important.
